Parenting Issues
Parenting a child is perhaps the most difficult and exhausting jobs on the face of the earth. Children are truly a blessing and yet can often contribute a great deal of stress to a married couple or single parent. I really enjoy working with this challenge because often, by making some, often minor changes in our parenting techniques, the turnaround time for positive results can come rather quickly. It’s not unusual to hear a parent say something akin to, “Wow! This really works!”
Working with parents regarding the different phases of child rearing is often brought to my practice. Everything from preschoolers to elementary and secondary young kids, to the “dreaded” junior high years, and let’s not forget “boomerang” young people. All can present daunting challenges to parents and how best to deal with the various areas of concern.
